The Várfok Gallery is delighted to announce its participation at the contemporary art fair, Art Market Budapest, 2022.
The highlight of this year’s stand will be a special selection of works from the 101-year-old Françoise Gilot. The relationship between the highly renowned artist and the VárfokGallery was established through Endre Rozsda, the Hungarian Surrealist painter and a great friend of Gilot. His works will also be showcased at the fair.
Additionally, the Várfok Gallery’s stand will showcase an exciting selection of work from the Gallery’s resident artists. The display will include works by such iconic figures of the contemporary Hungarian art scene, as János Szirtes, László Mulasics, Péter Ujházi or aatoth franyo.
Younger talent will be represented by three brilliantly skilled artists: Anna Nemes’s highly sensitive black nudes, Máté Orr’s latest surreal, neo-baroque composition and Kata Gaál’s unique collage and montage works.
Photography will also be represented through the masterful and thought-provoking works of Péter Korniss and Ákos Czigány.

The Art Market Budapest will be open between 6th. and 9th. October, 2022 at the Bálna Budapest, with the following opening times:
Thursday and Saturday: from 11.00 to 19.00
Friday: between 11.00 and 21.00
Sunday: between 11.00 and 19.00

We should like to inform our visitors that, entry to Art Market Budapest will be free only on Thursday. Tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday can be purchased online and at the entrance during opening hours.
