Dear Art Lovers!
We are glad to share the news of the recent exhibition of Françoise Gilot, the outstanding artist of the Várfok Gallery, held in France. The art show, that celebrates the 100th birthday of the artist, takes place in the Musée Estrine in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The exhibition titled Françoise Gilot – The French Years showcases Gilot’s exceptional oeuvre focusing on the French period. Among the displayed artworks her almost ten years long relationship with Pablo Picasso comes to life through the lens of the photographer, Michel Sima. Their mutual child Paloma Picasso attended in person and represented Gilot at the vernissage.
