LÁSZLÓ FELUGOSSY

About the works
László feLugossy, Munkácsy Award-winning painter, performer, actor, director, writer, photographer and singer. He is one of the founders of the Vajda Lajos Studio at Szentendre and the legendary underground band, the A.E. Bizottság. feLugossy has regularly exhibited since the 70s, he uses gestural, instinctual techniques, constantly widening his own visions on modern art. In his oeuvre fine art is strongly connected with poetry and music. His works are so rich in pictorial creativity that they can’t be divided into different eras. In his style the direct object-cult of pop art is regularly mixed with the open-minded language of graffiti. His aim is to show the invisible strength in objects opening new associations that are hidden in deeper layers.
