Várfok Gallery is pleased to announce another success, because the Gallery’s artist Françoise Gilot’s painting was sold higher than estimated value. The painting where the dominating colours are the shades of red was sold for 100.000 USD at the Sotheby’s auction in New York. The paining, titled The Visit (oil on canvas) was made in 1985 after numerous visits to India with the artist’s second husband during the 80’s.
